I shall never pollute again.

ICC was surprisingly fun.

Truth to be told, I was very surpised with the number of student attendees: two freshmen, two sophies, three juniors, and the rest of the students were fourth years. I thought that a lot people would attend since participation equals five points for the first LT. Four teachers, namely Sir Talaue, Ma'am Dacs, Sir Guce, and another Bio teacher (I don't know her name since she never became my teacher. ^_^;) accompanied us.

We only spent one hour in the "beach" of Manila Bay, picking up and segregating trash.

Interesting finds for the day:

  • slippers and shoes - A lot of people really want to be like Jose Rizal. :))
  • sea shells - Fine, it isn't supposed to be surprising since we were at a place that was once a clean beach but what the heck, I'm easily amused.
  • wood - And I assumed that people valued this. After all, good wood isn't cheap.
  • underwear - I thank David Ples and Sir Talaue for giving me gloves. :))

Organisms found:

  • a rat - The fourth years and Ma'am Dacs screamed their heads off at the sight of the gray creature. :))
  • ipis-dagat - It looks like a normal cockroach except it has more legs.
  • a crab - Ada found it. It was so small.

We went to MoA afterwards. Julia asked to be fetched so it was only Ada and me. We had to sneak her into the mall since she was barefooted (her shoe started 'talking' right after the cleanup). By the grace of God, we were able to make our way to the department store and buy her a pair of rubber slippers.

And the rest can be classified under F-U-N.

Not only did I help save the environment, I also got bonus points and an excuse to go and have fun in MoA.

It is a win-win thing, is it not? :)
